Hecklers’ Hangout – featuring Robert Caruso and BundlePost

Are you ready for another Hecklers’ Hangout? We had a great time with special guest Ellen Bremen at our inaugural Heckler’s Hangout last week. We turn our attention to technology this week with special guest Robert Caruso. He and Rich Cottle will be presenting BundlePost – a “Social Content Management System that automates 80% of your back office Social Media functions”.

Use BundlePost to help you rapidly curate social media and personal content

Title: Hecklers’ Hangout featuring Robert Caruso and BundlePost

Date: Thursday, September 13th, 2012

Time: 7pm EST / 6pm CST / 5pm MST / 4pm PST

I personally started using BundlePost several months ago, and it saves me a ton of time each week. It also keeps me from developing the very real “social media ADHD” that can result from constantly surfing blogs and Google Alerts to find quality content to curate. An important component of successful content curation is to spread out great topics and content over time. You then provide a service to your readers without overwhelming their social media streams all at once. Tools like BundlePost make this exercise a lot less time-consuming!

Some people may ask “what about Buffer?” I use BundlePost to schedule an entire week’s worth of great blog and personal content. I then use Buffer to “fill in the holes” if I come across exceptional content on a daily basis. Both products play a valuable role in my content curation activities for several social profiles. BundlePost also makes it easy to incorporate my personal content that may include archived blog posts and promotional/announcement tweets and status updates. If you want to read more about my own content curation strategy, and how I use tools like BundlePost, take a look at Social Media Fitness – Aerobic Endurance and Content Curation.

I am excited to see Robert showcase BundlePost during the screenshare portion of this Hecklers’ Hangout. Once he is done with the product demonstration, we will open the floor for heckling. FYI, read this post for rules of engagement on heckling as well as instructions on getting into the Hecklers’ Hangout Google+ Circle. We will also try to monitor the #HecklersHangout hashtag throughout the hangout if you prefer to ask questions through Twitter.

We hope you can join us this Thursday as we seek to entertain and educate on another Hecklers’ Hangout!
