#HecklersHangout 11 – @GiniDietrich! Plus some news!

Hi there! After our … interesting … show last week (if you didn’t watch it live you missed it) we are getting right back on track this week with special guest Gini Dietrich. Our intent (though we know now that our intention with these shows does not always come to fruition, per se) is to talk about Marketing in the Round, the book that Gini published with co-author Geoff Livingston earlier this year. I wrote a pretty detailed review after I read the book that you can catch here, but to summarize, the book is an excellent, up-to-date look at why it’s essential that companies bust silos and make sure integration is the order of the day.

If you are an entrepreneur, a marketer, a PR person, or a social media practitioner, this conversation will be a great one to tune in to. When else can you pick Gini’s brains, anyway?

Please remember that if you want to be *on* the hangout, you need to ping Brian (@dbvickery on Twitter) and make sure you’re in our Hecklers’ Hangout circle as well as include Brian in at least one of YOUR Google+ circles (to actually see the invite). If you want to join live, PLEASE try to sign in and join the hangout around 6:45 PM ET – it can get very distracting when people jump in late, especially if they end up having technology issues. If you’re camera shy, you can watch our hangout live on YouTube and tweet questions/comments on Twitter using the #hecklershangout hashtag. That’s all happening this Thursday, 11/15/12.

Now for some news. Thanks to the lovely and amazing Gigi Peterkin, Hecklers’ Hangout has a new logo! Here it is!

Isn’t that awesome? We’re so very thankful that Gigi did this for us, and she did a great job!!

So there it is! Join us Thursday for a great conversation, and don’t be shy about joining us on Facebook to continue the wackiness!

  1. I thought I commented on this and was getting frustrated it wasn’t here. And then I realized it was on Facebook that I commented. #ineedtogotobed
