April 1, 2011 marked my 10-year anniversary as a principal with a fantastic company that has blessed me abundantly: Mantis Technology Group. I celebrated that anniversary by kicking off this blog about social media and leadership – with the occasional “rites of passage” or education-related post. My primary goals are to engage an active readership while building their trust in both me as an individual and Mantis as a software solution provider.
Watch the following video. Consider this my personal and transparent introduction. If I’m the type of guy you would like to work with to provide solutions for your company, then let’s start talking!

I’m a simple guy that still looks forward to coffee every morning with my wife of over 23 years – Krista Vickery. At the time I am writing this bio, my oldest daughter Alexis is less than 30 days from making me a grandfather. She is attending the University of Colorado in Boulder, and is only about 3 semesters from graduating even though she is just 19! My youngest daughter, Savannah, is applying to colleges as she wraps up her senior year in high school. You can read some of her excellent “Savvy Vickery” writing, and catch some videos, by reading her guest posts on this blog.
Basically, I cherish my family and I consider them my greatest treasure.
I love to teach and coach. I’ve coached soccer, tennis, judo and taekwondo. I’ve narrowed my own participation to just tennis now, and I’ve enjoyed playing USTA league again in singles, doubles and mixed doubles with Krista.
You can read more of my professional details on LinkedIn.
I love my wife and two daughters. I am blessed as a principal and EVP of the Rocky Mountain Region for Mantis Technology Group. I am excited to promote our Pulse Analytics social media monitoring and sentiment analysis solution as well as our software development and business intelligence services. I love football, basketball, tennis, and judo. I graduated UT-Austin.
